                                                                                            Welcome to LVDLCS 2022 - 2023

Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,

Welcome LVDLCS families to what will, no doubt, be a unique year for all of us.  Due to to COVID-19 virus and our strong commitment to keeping our community safe, this school year will most definitely look and feel very different.  However, the one thing that will remain unchanged is our willingness to serve our students, serve  our community, and deliver a quality dual language education for all.

Both a hybrid and a 100% virtual model will be offered to begin the school year.  As the situation around the country, state, and county change we will be open to changing the educational schedule - flexibility will be key this year!  Regardless of if you have selected the hybrid or 100% virtual model for your family, we ask that you please stay in touch with LVDLCS by checking Class DoJo, Facebook, or the school web-page  daily  for updates from administration.  Communication will be more important than ever to make sure that you know all of the latest news and information.

Throughout the year you may change your selected educational programming by emailing me at [email protected] or messaging me directly through the Class DoJo messenger app.  As always, your child’s teacher is the first and most direct connection to what is going on in the classroom - whether you have questions about the physical classroom or the virtual classroom reach out to the teacher - they will help!

While this year is definitely different, and “excitement” may not be the right word for starting the new year - there is nowhere else I would rather be and no one else I would rather be working with during this time than the LVDLCS Community.  We are a strong community of staff, parents and students. By working together, supporting each other, and creating a community of in-person and virtual learners, we will ensure the safe success of each student, family, and the entire school community.
